Types of Retaining Walls We Install

Gravity

Works by holding back soil using its own weight.
Materials- Stone, concrete blocks, bricks, or poured concrete.
Pros- Simple design, no reinforcement needed for short walls.
Cons- Limited to lower heights unless built very thick.

Timber or Wood Retaining Wall

Wooden planks or logs stacked and anchored.
Pros- Inexpensive and fast to build, great for small landscaping projects.
Cons- Shorter lifespan (10-15 years), prone to rot and insect damage.

Segmental Retaining Wall

Interlocking concrete blocks stacked without mortar; relies on gravity and can be reinforced with geogrid.
Pros- Modular, good for curved or tiered designs.
Cons- Needs proper base and drainage, height limitations unless reinforced.
